Non-specific pain syndrommes
Do you suffer from any acute or chronic musculo-skeletal pain in the background of which there is no tissue degeneration or injury to any anatomical structure? You are not alone. In the background of numerous pain syndromes of the locomotor system no injury or tissue damage can be found. That fact considerably complicates the permanent eradication of any pain syndrome.
It is not unusual to experience pain in a joint as a result of movement of a limb or the body at some point in life. The pain usually occurs during or after some physical activity, but sometimes also spontaneously, without a clear mechanism of onset. A large number of such painful syndromes is not generated by damage to the joint or the surrounding structures (sometimes degeneration and/or damage does exist but is not the primary source of pain). Instead, it is a non-specific myofascial disorder that results in abnormal function of the muscles surrounding a joint or adjacent joints.
Such painful syndromes are often associated with previous injuries and traumas, which makes it difficult to make a clear diagnosis and to choose the optimal treatment. Also, long-standing joint pain often results in a significant decrease in the patient's motor function, which must be recovered during the treatment process.
Respecting interregional dependence and interdependence of pain, structure and function of the body, our team of experts has success in finding the primary sources of nonspecific joint pain and effectively treats them using osteopathy, physiotherapy and kinesitherapy. Therefore, if you suffer from such problems, please feel free to approach us with full confidence.
