MM LAB
Do you want to find out, in less than two hours, what your physical fitness level is in relation to your sport and playing position requirements and what inhibits you from a better performance? Do you want to objectively establish the effects of your previous work and receive guidelines for further work? The Motus Melior Lab is the right place for it.
The examination of athletes’ physical fitness in the Motus Melior Centre embraces the following six basic complexes:
Anthropometric determination of body composition, determination of body composition based on multifrequency bioelectrical impedance, goniometric measurement of range of motion in major joints, and flexibility of appropriate muscle groups.
Performing functional motor tasks such as stepping, jumping, jumping and running, “Y” dynamic balance test.
Isometric and isokinetically isolated testing for the strength and endurance of critical muscle groups and multi-joint measurement of leg and upper limb strength.
Two-legged and one-legged explosive and elastic leg strength of both vertical and horizontal character with analysis of force-velocity profiles for the lower extremities.
Sprint speed at 20m, maximum sprint speed, acceleration technique, speed of change of direction, agility (cognitive component).
Spiroergometry (laboratory measurement of aerobic power, anaerobic capacity and metabolic loading zones) and field-specific endurance testing (Yo-Yo test or 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test).
The final report on the athlete’s tested physical fitness contains numerical results and their interpretation for each of the five complexes as well as a conclusive expert opinion with practical recommendations for further work.
